Michael Williamson

Michael Kaliah Williamson, beloved son of Carolyn Louise Williamson and the late Willie Charles Williamson Jr., was born December 10, 1965 in Elizabeth, New Jersey and departed this life February 17, 2021.

Michael was Born and raised in Elizabeth, New Jersey and attended Elizabeth Public School System and was a Part of the class of 1986.

Michael was employed at National Action Network, Central Kitchen Newark, New Jersey, which provided food for the homeless.

Michael was a loving and caring person, who made friends where ever he went. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. His brilliant personality impacted the lives of everyone he encountered.

Michael had the pleasure to name one of his nieces, Kaliah Williamson, which is the name he went by. Michael was ALWAYS the performer! His energy filled the room with laughter and love. When the music starts so does he!!!  Vogueing and singing was his main act. Everywhere he went he enjoyed life to the fullest with no regrets.

Celebrating Michael's life and cherishing his memory is his mother Carolyn Williamson and sister Soncerae Williamson of Roselle, New Jersey, brothers: Erick Williamson, Tony Williamson and Salim Williamson all of Elizabeth, New Jersey, Shahid Williamson (Shakeemah) and Troy Williamson (Erica) of Newark, New Jersey and Curtis Williamson of Virginia, Two Aunts: Yasmeen Muhammad of Newark, New Jersey, Betty Williamson of Elizabeth, New Jersey and one Uncle Rufus Earl Williamson of Elizabeth, New Jersey and a host of loving nieces & nephews, cousins and friends.

Best Friends: Terry Mc Daniels, of Newark, New Jersey, Salim Jackson of Atlanta, Georgia and Hissie Halsey of Elizabeth, New Jersey.

We will forever celebrate him.
