Fernando Leon Dixon was born October 8, 1954 in Savannah, Georgia. He attended Morristown High School in Morristown, NJ.
Leon was a Corrections Officer for many, many years and in his latter years he worked at Verizon.
Leon loved his family just about as much as he loved peanut butter. His family often found snacks hidden high in cabinets, and a few times snacks were found underneath the bed by the family dog.
Leon was a quiet, but curious man who enjoyed creating bizarre food dishes, reading, and music. He was a proud pop-pop, father, and husband.
Leon is survived by his wife of 38 years, Kim Dixon (Aiken), two daughters LaNiece Spain, Chloe Lewis, and his only son Dominique Dixon; Five grand-sons Mar Quis Alston, Owen Dixon, Miles Dixon, Johnathan Lewis, and Nolan Dixon; Three brothers: Victor Dixon, Ricardo Dixon, and Samuel Dixon. His Mother Thelma Harrison and Father George Harrison; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
