Curtis S Jones

Curtis Jones was born in Elizabeth New Jersey on October 8, 1959 to Ronald Jones and Emma Rogers.  He attended Elizabeth Public School and graduated from Elizabeth High school in 1979.

After graduating, Curtis worked for Wake fern in Elizabeth N.J. He also worked for Maxon and Pontiac car dealership, and Aramark Uniform Services in Union, N.J.

Curtis loved the Dallas Cowboys; no one could tell him anything about his Cowboys. There was nothing more important to Curtis than his family. He loved to cook and clean.

Curtis put a smile on everyone’s face he came in contact with. If you were not smiling he was sure to make sure he said something to make you smile. We are all going to miss him saying “ain’t nothing slow about me but the way I walk”.

Curtis was preceded in death by his parents Mr. Ronald S. Jones and Mrs. Emma Jones, and mother Barbara Jones.

He leaves to cherish his wife Tannecia Jones, sons Curtis Smith (Lakisha) mother Connie Smith, Salaam Dempsey mother Carolyn Dempsey, and Sharif Cook mother Phyllis Cook, 7 grandchildren Quasim Smith, Curmya Smith, Curveah Smith, Curron Smith, Salaam Dempsey Jr. Alayasha and Aniyyah, siblings Emma Darlene Jackson, Ronell Johnson (Daryl), Robin Whitfield (Richard), Terry Jones (Chris), Paulette Jones (Jason), Lisa Jones and brother Kim Jones. Special friends of the family Phyllis Cook, Selena Gadsden and a host of other loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
