Adrienne Green

Adrienne A. Green was born on January 13, 1965 in Elizabeth, NJ, to Shirley Avery and the late Willie B. Devine.  She was the middle child and her parent’s only daughter. Adrienne entered into eternal rest Monday evening, January 15, 2021 in Rahway, NJ.

Adrienne attended the Elizabeth, Linden and Roselle Public School Systems and graduated from Abraham and Clark High School in Roselle.  After graduation she attended DeVry Business School, where she obtained an Associates Degree in Business.  She was taught that hard work and a good education were important in life.

Adrienne was employed by Ashley Furniture. She was a dedicated and hard worker who was loved & respected by her co-workers.

Adrienne loved grilling out and having people around laughing and drinking twister tea.  She enjoyed being a mom to the joys of her life Nadhir and Shamir and a grandmother to her grandchildren, whom she loved so very much also.  Family was very important to her.

Adrienne was predeceased by her son Shamir Green; her father Willie B. Devine; her brother Willie B. Devine, Jr. and her grandparents. She leaves to cherish her memory her son Nadir Starks; dear mother Shirley Avery; brother James Devine (Torri); three grandchildren, Savahnna, Sanayah and Zyaire Green; beloved nephew Amir Devine (Tara); two nieces Milan and Monet Carolina; two great nephews Austin and Ashton Devine; a very special friend Michael McKinney and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.

She will be greatly missed and not forgotten. We have beautiful memories she will forever remain in our hearts.
